Welcome. I'm a trumpet player, composer and teacher in the Seattle area...Actually, there have been a few changes. My wife and I recenlty have moved to Orcas Island and we are selling our Bellevue home.
Since moving I've become involved in some seriously fun music projects on Orcas. The Orcas Horns is a new party-dance band with strong jazz and funk influences. The Five Bells Brass has invited me to join their wonderful brass quintet and I'm thrilled to find an opportunity to play classical music. The musical Gypsy will be performed on the Orcas Center Stage in spring and I have been asked to play with and help direct the pit orchestra. Of course, I'm still busy working with the great Willie Thomas and I'm working on a new composing project.
